This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application GetSobr — Days Clean Tracker ("GetSobr", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information. By using GetSobr you agree to the practices described below.

1. Summary

GetSobr is designed to be privacy-friendly:

  • The information you enter (the habits you track, your reasons, dates, streaks, and badges) is stored only on your device. We do not have a server that collects or stores this content.

  • We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the app.

  • We do not sell your data.

  • The only third parties involved are our payment and subscription provider (RevenueCat) and the app store (Google Play / Apple), which process purchases.

2. Information You Provide

When you use GetSobr, you may enter information such as:

  • The habit(s) or substance(s) you choose to track (for example "Alcohol", "Nicotine").

  • Your personal reason or motivation ("your why").

  • Your sober/clean start date and any relapse dates.

  • Optional details such as estimated daily cost.

This information may relate to health or well-being and is therefore sensitive to you. It is stored locally on your device only. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party, and we cannot read it. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

GetSobr offers an optional premium subscription. Purchases are processed by the app store (Google Play Billing or, on iOS, Apple App Store) and managed through RevenueCat, Inc., our subscription infrastructure provider.

To manage your subscription and unlock premium features, the following may be processed:

  • A randomly generated, anonymous app user ID created by RevenueCat.

  • Purchase and transaction information (which product you bought, purchase date, subscription status, renewals, refunds).

  • Limited technical and device information (such as device type, operating system version, country, and IP-derived region) used to operate and secure the purchase.

We do not receive your full name, payment card number, or billing address — those are handled directly by the app store. We use this purchase information only to provide premium access, restore purchases, and prevent fraud.

4. App Reviews

GetSobr may ask you to rate the app. This uses the in-app review feature provided by the app store. Any rating or review you submit is handled by the app store under its own privacy policy, not by us.

5. Home Screen Widget

If you add the optional home screen widget, your current clean-time information is stored locally on your device so the widget can display it. This data does not leave your device.

6. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.

  • We do not include advertising or advertising trackers.

  • We do not include third-party analytics that profile you.

  • We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location.

7. How Your Information Is Stored and Protected

Your tracking data is stored locally on your device using your device's standard app storage. Purchase data handled by RevenueCat and the app stores is stored on their secure servers. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we and our providers use reasonable measures to protect information.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Local data: Remains on your device until you delete it within the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.

  • Purchase data: Retained by RevenueCat and the app stores according to their policies and applicable legal/accounting requirements. You may request deletion of purchase data associated with your anonymous ID by contacting us at efeatdigital@gmail.com.

9. Children's Privacy

GetSobr is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data, and to object to processing. Because your tracking content lives only on your device, you control it directly within the app. For purchase-related data, contact us at efeatdigital@gmail.com and we will assist you, working with RevenueCat and the app stores where needed.

11. International Users

Our service providers (such as RevenueCat and the app stores) may process limited purchase data on servers located in other countries, including the United States. By using the app you acknowledge this processing.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes may also be communicated within the app or the store listing. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
