These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Identify Anything mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. AI results are informational only
Identify Anything uses artificial intelligence to identify objects and to provide estimates and information (including weight, size, object counts, plant and coin identification, estimated values and prices, shopping suggestions, and text translation).
All results are AI-generated, approximate, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided for general informational purposes only.
Estimates (such as weight, size, count, value, or price) are not precise measurements and must not be relied upon for any purpose requiring accuracy.
Results are not professional advice (including financial, appraisal, botanical, safety, or nutritional advice). Do not rely on the App to determine whether a plant or item is safe, edible, valuable, or authentic. Always consult a qualified professional and verify independently.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make any purchases. If you are under that age, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. License to use the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the applicable app store terms (Apple App Store and/or Google Play).
4. Your content
"Your Content" means any photos and information you capture, upload, or submit in the App.
You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the App's features (for example, transmitting an image to our AI provider to generate a result).
You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights. Do not submit content that is illegal, infringing, or that depicts other people or their private information without consent.
5. Subscriptions, payments, and renewals
The App offers a limited number of free scans and requires a paid subscription ("Premium") for additional or unlimited use. Prices and billing periods are shown in the App before purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law;
Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers;
Attempt to bypass usage limits, paywalls, or security measures (other than legitimate, authorized reviewer access);
Submit malicious code or content that infringes others' rights.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, text, graphics, and software (excluding Your Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services, including OpenAI (AI image processing), RevenueCat (subscription management), and the Apple App Store and Google Play (distribution and payments). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP AND ALL RESULTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESULTS ARE ACCURATE OR THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of Your Content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 1, 9, 10, and 11) will survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Country / State], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes shall be subject to the courts located in [Your Jurisdiction], unless applicable law provides otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
